I Wish This Translucent Sony DSLR Was Real [Cameras]

Technically, this Sony camera is coming out as the A77, but it certainly won't have that clear body, which looks pretty awesome. Sony made this prototype to draw attention to the new translucent mirror technology found in the A77, which Ubergizmo says would allows for more advanced realtime autofocusing while shooting stills or video. The camera, which PetaPixel says will replace the A700, will also shoot 1080p AVCHD video and feature Sony's Exmor CMOS sensor. More »
